SMG has a special division, SMG Languages, which, for over 15 years, has provided the following conference interpreting services and language support through its staff and specially dedicated work processes.

SIMULTANEOUS

The interpreters translate speeches in real time using technical tools such as headphones and microphones, inside suitable soundproof cabins. SMG also provides rental services for all its equipment and necessary technical support.

Consecutive

The interpreter takes notes while the speaker talks and, at the end of the speech, interprets for those present by providing a deferred translation.

Chuchotage

The interpreter sits alongside those listening to the foreign speaker and whispers the translation in real time, without the aid of technical equipment.

Hostess

Staff with language skills, able to assist customers with foreign audience relations, i.e. for fairs and conferences.
